Crabtree River Cottages consists of a fully self contained suite within Crabtree House, a Heritage listed 1840's homestead. Also two self contained federation cottages situated on Crabtree River, Emily and Eliza Cottage are recently completed

Two newly completed cottages built in the same federation architectural design as Crabtree House(circa 1840).

Both have very high vaulted ceilings and large decks and verandas overlooking Crabtree River and the pastures beyond.

You will enjoy the fireplace with slow combustion inbuilt fires sipping a complimentary port and enjoy the two person spa and French influenced bedroom.

Both Emily and Eliza are perfect for that romantic weekend or simply a place to relax and enjoy the Huon Valley

The cottages have their own decks with views over the river, an active playground for Platypus and Trout. High ceilings, fireplaces, spas and luxury fit out make the cottages an ideal and peaceful stay. 

[The Heritage Suite] A fully self contained four star suite that gives complete privacy and relaxation in a historic rural setting. It has a luxurious bedroom with views over Crabtree House's award winning gardens on one side and Crabtree River on the other. The finest bedding and your personal bathrobes are provided.

The suite is centrally heated. The living room has a kitchenette, leather lounge and flat screen TV, DVD and stereo. Also beer and local wine can be purchased from the mini bar.

How to get there:

You take the Southern Outlet from Hobart, you pass Kingston and continue south along the Huon Highway you will see the Grove sign when you have been traveling approximately 25 minutes from Hobart. The Mountain River Crabtree turn off is on the right, Grove Store and Petrol Station is on the corner. Just follow our signs and we look forward to seeing you.
