Smokey Cape Retreat is a neo-tuscan style retreat situated in a beautiful bush setting surrounded by a wonderful selection of wildlife.

There are 3 different styles of rooms; Garden Suites, the Heritage Room and the Lounge Suite. All the rooms have double spas except for the Lounge Suite which has a large ensuite. The guest rooms have been elegantly appointed with their own private entrance and room service is offered daily.
All rooms are air conditioned .

Situated in Arakoon (close to South West Rocks), midway between the Smoky Cape Lighthouse and the Historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Retreat is a short 5 hour drive north of Sydney and 5 hours south of the Gold Coast - a perfect half way stop. 

Getting to Smoky Cape is easy. Coming from south take the South West Rocks turnoff which is just south of Kempsey. Follow the Macleay River and this road brings you straight into the Rocks. Turn right into Arakoon Road & travel 2kms where you will find Smoky Cape Retreat on the corner of Cockatoo Place & Arakoon Road.

Coming from the North, pass through Macksville, ignoring the turn-offs to Stuarts Point, pass through Clybucca then slow down & prepare to take a left hand turn at the Sth West Rocks turnoff. Follow this road and turn right into Arakoon Road. Smoky Cape Retreat is 2kms on the right.

3 nights @ $399.00 per couple and 5 nights @ $569.00 (stay 4 nights and recieve the 5th night free. This includes all of the 3 night package) which includes hot and cold breakfast each morning, homemade mulled wine and canapes served by the fireplace followed by 3 course Xmas dinner

The Garden Suites and Heritage Room are queen size suites with double spas. The Lounge Suite is a king size suite with a separate lounge area and ensuite with shower over the bath. All rooms are air conditioned

The Studio Suite is a King size Suite with a large living area @ $150.00 per night with breakfast.
Breakfast is served al fresco style in our restaurant area by the pool. In winter this area is fully heated with a fireplace and gas heating. The formal lounge area has a Tudor style fireplace. We also provide a la carte dining and Italian nights with homemade pizzas in our wood fire pizza oven and we are BYO. There is also bbq facilities by the pool.
